...just 'cause Santa died?
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

HI! I am new here and very excited to share some Halloween ideas!

I am originally from Rhode Island and have been transplanted (semi-willingly) to Texas. I have found Rhode Islanders to be MUCH more free-spirited where Halloween is concerned so I reeeeeally miss that. BUT... that doesn't stop me! Bwa-ha ha ha!

My favorite part of Halloween is the annual party we throw. We LOVE to scare the straights and always invite everyone and anyone we know and it is always a huge success. I am THRILLED its on a Friday this year because we can add in TOTing for the kids.

My favorite Halloween activity is decorating the house ... we start no later than October 1st (although some pieces stay up all year round!). I actually threw out Christmas decorations last year to make more room for Halloween ones HA!

My favorite candy is Resees hands down! I just love peanut butter and milk chocolate...but it has to be Reeses brand...they are the ultimate!

Halloween costumes... wow where to begin... we have so many! I have a hard time choosing... We did Lucy and Linus last year and my husband shaved his head for it...I put a Charlie Brown curl on his forehead with brown eyeliner...it was great! His boss was a little freaked he shaved his head (works for IBM) but when he showed up at work as Charlie Brown she said "I should have known it was a Halloween thing!" (She comes to our parties LOL). We did the "Martha Stewart" Toule ghosts one year and those were freaky cool at night! We put in white-out eyes for added effect... We've got cat eyes and flame eyes as well... love those things!

Okay I can type for hours about Halloween... LOVE IT!!!! Hope to hear from lots of you on your great ideas! We are in need of good ideas for this Halloween...we are late in planning! UGH! HELP! My husband wants to do Witches and Wizards... but we need to steer a little away from HP cause we are doing a HUGE HP party next year and I don't want to steal from that

Thanks and Happy Hauntings!!
