Yes, we all have lots of great halloween memories, but what are those memories for everybody that just stick out above the rest and hold a special place in your heart.
My fav memory has got to be the halloween of 2004 that I spent in my grandmothers house with some of my friends. Emptying our hoard of trick or treat gains while smelling the smoky air wafting in through the partially open window. Hearing children screaming with delight in being consumed with the fun of it all. Such memories can't be bought and are priceless.
Halloween the time for remembering and honouring the good times. What are your fav Halloween memories?
Re: Fav Halloween Memories
I had a good Halloween time in 2007 (last year).
I decorated my own front porch as the graveyard with some tombstones and designs like that on them. Paint and drop some blood stains everywhere. Place some life-size props too! We scared the kids and gave out the candies.
I've been doing like this since 2001 until now... This year I probably would do the same thing, even some small new props that will come straight to my door by UPS.
Halloween memories can bring more fun for everyone to share their story!

Re: Fav Halloween Memories
At the risk of being redundant, my favorite Halloween memory is when I was a kid, there use to be a farm stand at the corner of 111th and Central park, and when they would put the pumpkins out on display, you knew that Halloween was in the air. I use to go out of my way so I could look at those pumpkins on my way home from school. That same farm stand also sold Christmas trees. They went "belluy-up" after the place buned down.

Re: Fav Halloween Memories
I remember one Halloween. Had to be maybe 1989, somewhere around there. I was a ninja, my sister was a traditional witch and my little brother was wrapped in gauze to be a mummy. There wasn't anything too special about it. But it's just a vivid memory.
We went trick or treating for hours it seemed. When I think back on Halloween as a kid this one always pops in my head. Good times. Very good times.

1978, my sister made me a Luke Skywalker costume to which I added a lightsaber that lit up.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.
