Cheap Web Hosting Site?

Can anyone recommend a good cheap (or preferably free) web hosting site? So, I'd like to find a good site to add pics, events, news, and eventually add more.

Thanks in advance for my recommendations! :D

Someone told me to try 250Free.com - Get your 250 Megabyte homepage free! Build your own website free! Well, I don't think it looks great. :? What do you think of it?
