House on Haunted Hill

Post by Haunt Master » Fri Nov 21, 2008 6:10 pm

Well, I've seen this movie a few times before, now it will show on tv tonight, and also, another one called "Return to House on Haunted Hill" will be on tv tonight, too. Honestly, I've never seen that one before because it was made last year. The first part was made in 1999. So I am going to see the second part tonight.

Does anyone seen "Return to House on Haunted Hill" before? I'd like to hear your opinion here. ;)

This is one of those rare exceptions that I liked the remake better then the original. The original, as it turned out, was a disappointment.

The original House on Haunted Hill (1959) with Vincent Price, my all-time favorite horror genre actor, is one of my favorite horror movies, and a must-watch addition to each of my annual Halloween anthology compilations of new and classic horror and horror-comedy movies, animated and live-action TV Halloween specials, and documentary films. :)

I've never seen the classic House on Haunted Hill, but I saw that one was made in 1999. Well, I didn't get chance to see Return to House on Haunted Hill. I will add it to my Netflix list. ;)

I never saw "Return to House on Haunted Hill" either. I'll have to see if Netflix has it, and if so put it in my quewee.

I dug the remake. I haven't seen the original or the sequel, though.

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Yes, that's correct, Pumpkinman! ;) Also, some of you can check out at your local video stores if they do carry it. :D

Both my local video store and my local library have all kinds of movies on both DVD and VHS, and I've often gotten lucky with titles that are actualy out of print.
