yea pumpkins take time. we have over 10 acres of pumpkins on our farm in beulah alabama

i have all the pumpkins i could ever want. growing the big ones is technique really, that is if you want good shape and color. other than that, its just snapping off the vines of the surrounding pumpkins in certain places so that your soon to be prize pumpkin gets all the nutrients from its vine and the others
