I am in the process of watching all the Halloween and all the Friday the 13th series. I had only seen the first of both movies in the past and decided to watch all of them this year. I have seen Halloween 1, 2, H2O, I think I'll skip H3 because I heard it wasnt even part of the real series, and go strait to 4 (in my blockbuster que now). I have seen Friday the 13th 1, 2, 3, 4 and have 5 in my que.

So far I think the Halloween series has more of a story behind it, I enjoy FT13th but it's just a strait up slasher with no real story to it.

I agree.
Friday 13th was a slasher all the way. I like the series, but Halloween has a lot of story behind it.

I didn't care much for Halloween Season of the Witch either. Loved the rest though.

You should watch Halloween 3 just for kicks because I still find it to be a pretty cool film despite what others say. Make sure you watch Halloween 4,5,6 but in my opinion you could skip resurrection and the Rob Zombie remakes because those aren't my favorite and H20 is just OK.

And your right, Friday the 13th is basically just a slasher with the same storyline in ever movie. I enjoy watching those movies as well.

I liked Zombie's The Devil's Rejects.
But what he did to Halloween, it wasn't my favorite either.

Yeah 4, 5 & 6 are good.

I've never seen the Devil's Rejects but I have heard good things about it from almost everybody so i might have to check that out this year. I remember I went to the first Rob Zombie's Halloween and left like 30 minutes into it because I was so disappointed. I never even saw the second one, but I heard mixed reviews so I'm not sure if I missed anything spectacular.

Well, not everyone I've talked to likes The Rejects, but I really do. I'll recommend it.
If you don't like it, you can yell at me. Hehe

I haven't seen Zombie's 2nd Halloween, either. I don't think I will. So disappointed with the first attempt.

I saw Rob Zombies Halloween, it was okay, but wasnt the original. I also saw the new "killer Cut" FT13th and I did like that one, it was similar to the RZ Halloween in that it showed how Jason got to where he was......a more "human" side of him.
I bought H1, 2, and H2O because they all had Jamie Lee Curtis in them and I was told they were the best out of them all. I saw she was in another one too but I cant remember which one and in what order it was.

Haha very true, he did not. I would like to think that I am a little more of a social person than Micheal ever was

Oh yeah, I'd say you are.
I can't picture Michael belonging to a Halloween forum.

And thanks for the faith in my recommendation!

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
