Costume ideas

Post by Nyx » Sat Sep 26, 2009 2:07 pm

I actually have no ideas for my costume. I know that I need something easy to wear and easy to walk in so nothing too intricate. We don't really have a theme this year since eveyrone is doing something different. Most years I do some variation of the same theme - vampire, witch, goddess, etc. I want to do something dark and twisted this year! I thought it may be funny to be a zombie nurse (since being a nurse makes me feel like a zombie some days!) or something equally gross. Since my friends and I are basically going camping and having a bonfire in place of the traditional party, I need something functional.

I'm open to anything! I don't do full face masks (feel like I can't breathe) and I'm allergic to latex but beyond that... I'm open to about anything.

Ideas? Please?

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Hrmm... You could be a WolfMan like the one from the old movie. Get some fake hair and some skin adhesive to stick it on with. I remember one year I purchased a WolfMan make-up kit and it worked quite well. No mask needed, just the fur and the teeth that all came packaged.

Some old/torn clothes would probably work well with the acessories. :D

That gaping hole costume is amazing, just been discussing how we could create one at work. I think that's the cleverist costume I've seen! If you still need some costume ideas I found some awesome Watchmen one's here http://boxwish.com/halloween I'm thinking of doing vampire or sally jupiter from Watchmen! Hope that helps, Ella x

I was actually putting some brain matter into figuring out how to create an actual, working Rorschach mask. For Comic-con. Couldn't come up with anything. At least, nothing easy. Woulda been cool.
