they really were.. i keep going back and looking at the pictures :) i wish my yard haunt pics had turned out right :(
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

i didn't have my camera so we used my brothers digital and NOTHING came out really.. just darkness (my yard haunt is a dark... creepy kind.. hardly any lights... low lit for the few that were)

Ah ok. Those kind are nice too.
One year I did my whole yard in low blue light. It looked really good.

I went to Michael's at lunch and picked up this little tree. Other than the color and it's tinsel (I like shiny things) I'm not sure when to use it.

It's not really Halloween or Thanksgiving, and if I put it out for Christmas it reminds me of a dead fir tree.

Maybe I'll make a Nightmare Before Christmas something-or-other out of it?

Hmm That's pretty right. I think you do too. :)

And Andy, I think either a Halloween tree or the Nightmare Before Christmas. It fits both.
I'm really liking the color of it.
