Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Rob Zombie doesn't have time to do with Halloween 3D because he's planning to do "The Blob" remake - but still not sure yet. And also, I'm still dying to see RZ's Haunted World of El Superbeasto. :D

In case, some of you don't know who Todd Farmer is....

He was the writer of Jason X, The Messengers, My Bloody Valentine, and Messengers 2: The Scarecrow.

Now he's writing Halloween 3D, Drive Angry and also, Clock Tower.

Anyway, I'm back with this news.... rumors have been confirmed!

Steve Miner will not direct this Halloween 3D, but Patrick Lussier will.

BTW, I didn't know that Steve Miner was directed that film "HOUSE" with William Katt and George Wendtz in 1986. I do like that movie very much! :D And, Steve M. didn't direct "HOUSE 2: THE SECOND STORY". Honestly I really didn't even like the second part. :?

.
Actually, last I heard is that the next Halloween movie has been shelved for the time being. Unlikely one will come out in 2010.

Remake in 3-D?

I got a good question from the person I know. He said, "Why are all these movies remade in 3D"? He also doesn't think Halloween would be that good in 3D.

So what do you think?

i'd HATE to see it in 3D.. i don't like 3D movies.. i don't like the glasses and the picture quality isn't that good.. plus it annoys me.. i'll see it anyway just because i love the movies.. but GOD i wish they'd just make it a regular movie

Are you serious, Carpenter will be doing it?? I'm going to check bloody-disgusting and see if they say.
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep, and I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep. Did you hear me butterfly? Miles to go before you sleep."

Yes, the true is that John Carpenter will be the writer for all characters in this 3D film. I've read about this somewhere on other horror forums.

And, maybe you both Adrian and Bella didn't know that John Carpenter wrote Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) movie? Yes he did it! :D But he didn't write the second part of RZ's Halloween film.

i don't see this as true. Zombie stated in an interview that he took it into "his" direction (which is true) the difference between 2007 and 09 is that in 07 zombie wanted to stay sorta in the boundries of Carpenter's work with a zombie twist... but in 09 zombie stated that the gloves were off and that in H2 this michael was going to be "his" michael.

although for the 2007 version.. carpenter did state that he loved the direction zombie took the series and fully backed him in whatever he planned to do
