Good point but I bet if you ask them when they are teenagers they will beg to differ ;)

But right now I am my daughters knight in shining armor and they both adore me...daddy has to be the one to read her stories and daddy has to take her to ballet and she looks to see if I am there watching and she comes running over to me for support and a hug...man, talk about making you into a puddle of melted mush...only a little girl knows how to do that.

The older one was like that too and now she is 12 and still loves daddy's attention...still craves it and wants daddy around her...she is precious.

The boy is only 1 1/2 years old...we will see how he is soon :)

Ha! The majority of whackos in the world are here!

My fear is not being a good enough parent for my kids...failing them in some way or not being there for them when they need me...I just pray I am all they need and want in a father.
Oh that is so sweet, your kids are lucky to have you as a Dad.

I'm truly the lucky one...they present their challenges on a day to day basis but they show me so much and make me appreciate so many more things than before...I just want them to look back on their lives and know and never have a doubt how much their daddy loves them...I know it sounds cheesy but it's important to me they feel that and know it....they are gifts and blessings each of them.
Ya big softy.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I know, my oldest daughter is 9 and she doesn't like the hugs and kisses anymore, especially around her friends, she gets embarrassed. She is very stubborn and doesn't like to clean her room (of course what kid does?), I tell her that if she doesn't, I will walk with her to school wearing an afro wig, gigantic bellbottoms and big platform shoes, it works! HA!!! I will probably end up doing it someday just for laughs. My 7 and 6 year old daughters aren't to the drama queen stage yet but they are very different from each other! It's amazing that one is shy and quiet and the other is a total loudmouth! My son is 4 1/2 and he's already playing on the computer, he likes playing on Disney. They grow up too fast but I don't miss the diaper changes or middle of the night feedings, wouldn't want to do that again. I'm done, got fixed, no more!

Yeah, I don't want any more at this point either...3 is defintiley enough. They do grow up so fast. My 5 year old is a Diva if there ever was one but she can also be the sweetest child you have ever seen...but also has a temper. My oldest...she is the angel...does everything you ask her to do, good grades in school, reads, doesn't hang out with bad kids, loves to be in school...the boy...he is going to be a whirlwind I just know it...but he is also a very sweet boy.

If you ever want more I will lend you mine for awhile :P
