I'd like to go to the San Diego Comic Con this year but tickets sell out so fast, I want to go for the Star Wars geekdom myself......oh well, have fun, take pics!

While in NYC a few years ago, there was a convention held in midtown Manhattan at the Marriott. I noticed many of the particpants were Japanese. The trip I took was during Labor Day weekend, for three years in a row. Is this the same convention or was it an anime convention?
My daughter and her friends are into anime. Here in The Woodlands, the Marriott hosts Anime Matsuri, which is held Easter weekend.

there are many conventions held here comic con is at the jacob javits center on the west side in the 30s i've been to a fangoria weekend there too but it was much, much smaller than comic con
