Ohh, yes! I used to have those long time ago... I will check it out if they are at the grocery store. Maybe 7-11 store? So, my grandpa loves the candy, I forgot the name of it... it is root beer barrell, you know? Yes, it tastes root beer.

I remember those little barrel shaped root beer flavored candies, too. That was another favorite of my fathers, God rest his soul. I thought they were okay, but they were not my personal favs. My father HATED the bannanna flavored taffy, so we would allways barter the taffo for the root beer candy and licorice.

I think the reason my Dad liked licorisc so much is because his mom, my Grandma use to make it from scratch, and it was one of his favorite childhood memories. Ironicly, she only made sor Easter, and for Halloween when she was still alive.
