Re: Sitings....
I haven't been to either of them yet, but according to our local paper, Halloween Express is opening two stores in Murfreesboro this month. We have a population of about 100,000 in this town, so I am somewhat surprised (but heartened) that the merchants think we can sustain two stores like this.

An entire store that sells only Halloween stuff? That sounds too good to be true, but then again, you never know. I wish there was a store like that near where I live, but my town is no where's near 100,000 people.

there are two year-round Halloween stores near Disneyland Ca, called Halloween Club. I've been there a few times, pretty cool and lots of stuff.Pumpkin_Man wrote:An entire store that sells only Halloween stuff? That sounds too good to be true, but then again, you never know. I'm sure the Halloween Expresses here in Murfreesboro are seasonal only. They have had a store like that open up each year for the past few years.

I'm no where's near Murphysborow, or Disneyland California. I live in Dwight Illinois, so if I want to purchase Halloween decorations outside of the Halloween season, I have to do so on line. Do either of those stores in Murphy's or in Califirnia have web sites?

Here we have Spirit, Halloween Express and Halloween City. To a certain extent they all carry the same kind of stuff but you can find good deals if you look enough.

Re: Sitings....
yes, those are the common, seasonal ones, they've both opened here already. I'd like to go to that independent year round store (Halloween Club) again and see how they have changed since the last time I was thereOctoberChill wrote:Here we have Spirit, Halloween Express and Halloween City. Halloween Express is just seasonal here in Murfreesboro, Mike. They will be open for two months, I guess. I was just surprised that they are opening two of them here this year. I suppose the company must have a web site somewhere, but I've never looked for one.

Well, we may not have a year round Halloween store, but Wallgreens in Pontiac did have, among other things, LED pumpkin lights and LED Skull lights for $6.99. I bough 2 strings of each, and am actualy tempted to put a couple of them up.
