I spent some time last night putting together some Halloween packages for various kids. I hit up the after-Halloween sales and stock up on supplies... then mail 'em out late Sept/early Oct.

We still have more cemetery fence to get to, and I am still working on my life size figures. I did get my one purchased life size witch up in the house and hubby got the inside decorations down from the rafters for me yesterday. I'm ready to put stuff out early this year too.

I am SO looking forward to starting the Halloween season this year. It's been a long, hot Summer, and while I did enjoy riding my Harley, I am ready for jack o'lanterns, horror movies, Karmel Apples and Tootsie Rolls.

I hate to say it but I'm a little behind, too. I'm behind on my house cleaning and on my decorating.

Well, I'm glad to see I have company, at least. I'm sure I won't get to it until the second week of October.

Yeah... work is slowing down again and unexpected expenses are hitting me every time I turn around. I really wanted to build that vine pumpkin stand but I can't justify spending the money till I know things are gonna pick up. I'm not gonna go all out this year, just like last year. Maybe a nice quite night at home watching scary movies with my roommate and trying to scare away ToTers so I can keep the candy for myself. Now if I can just stay out of the Halloween stores. Money just magically seems to disappear from my pumpkins when I go in those.

My budget is tight from an overly expensive summer. I had to go to I think 6 weddings one of which was my cousins that I was in(he had a great date July the 13th a Friday!). So we'll probably take it slowish a few new decorations here or there and a new piece for our Department 56 Halloween "Snow Village"

I just checked the weather report for this weekend and it's supposed to be rainy in my area. I wanted to put my outside lights up :( :( :( I'm not sure I can wait another whole week. This may call for early decorating of the outside!

NeverMore I just got my Cable tv, internet and phone bundle bill. It's almost 200 bucks, so I definately feel your pain. I am switching phone and internet this Saturday, and when I'm on Christmas vacation I'm switching from Cable to Satelite.
