It's freezing here in Ohio!

it's in the 60s temperature and rainy. some leaves are changing, halloween and fall items are now in the stores, and i've got a crockpot of chili going. how's that for autumn like conditions

This time of year in No.Cal. the poison ivy starts to turn a stunning shade of red, and in certain areas the Liquid Amber trees are getting their first blush.

Liquid amber leaves look a lot like Maple, only the tips are pointier. Here is a pic from a few years ago, this tree is outside of our garage.

Although this was from November, they begin changing toward the end of summer, and can last until March.

It is still hot and humid here in Houston.

Hello everyone,
It is 79 degrees here in Mo. but the nights are getting down to the 60's. That is very weird for this area, it is normally in the 90's. I can't wait for fall so I can start decorating my house & my work. Witchy

its still hot here, but it has been getting cooler the past couple of days, with a autumn breeze flowing once in a while . usually i can smell the changes in seasons, it hasn't completely gone into the phase of summer to autumn yet here

I live in charlottesville, VA which is at the base of the mountains so therefore its a little bit cooler here than at VA beach. I actually visited Va beach earlier in the summer and it was very HOT but i had a lot of good seafood!

Yes! You're right!!! Lots of good seafoods here in Va Beach! And also, we have the best BBQ in Norfolk that was brought from NC!
