My allergies are killing me right now too.
It's been raining constantly for two days and it's getting cooler. But still around 80 degrees. But it's starting to feel more like fall. A Texas fall anyway.
I bought a Yankee spiced pumpkin candle a month or so ago. Smells awesome. You can smell it through the whole house.

Don't get me started on allergies. I just spent three days in the I.C.U after getting sick from them. Not being able to breathe can cause a variety of problems, not the least of which is death...
I'm feeling better now, though. Especially since the Halloween season is about to kick into full gear...

Grah. Well I woke up this morning and come to find out, it's more than just allergies that's afflicting me. I took my temperature and I was running a low grade fever. I may have caught the flu. No, not swine flu, just good old fashionsed influenza. But hey, I still have my appitite.
Not to say my allergies and sinuses are helping matters any, but my sore throat and head aches and sinus pressure are a real killer for sure.

Same here unseasonal temps, pretty warm so the leaves are still dark green but a promising sign is that the soybeans and the bottoms of the cornstalks are turning brown. That all means one thing were getting closer!!!! Just embrace it because here in a couple of weeks my start of full blown Halloween begins September 30th the day I put up the decorations until November 1st early morning. And then before you know it its the middle of October and we all think where did it go?. Then on the 3rd or 5th I take them down. I always love Halloween pre season.

It's still pretty hot here too, today it's going to be 93 degrees and nothing like the 110 degree weather we have been getting. I have my windows open right now, it feels great, I just want to be able to shut down my a/c it's costing us $200 a month! I need to buy some pumpkin scented candles, I have been wanting to get BBW Perfect Autumn Pumpkin spray. I didn't know Febreze had a Fall scented one, I will have to check it out. I got some pumpkin scented candles last year at WalMart for $1 and they smelled really strong and lasted awhile. I'm cheap and won't spend alot of money on luxury items. But I did go to another yard sale and picked these up for 25 cents each!

Over here in England it's beginning to look and smell like Autumn. Halloween is just around the corner and I'll be coming here far more frequently from now on

I didn't like the Yankee halloween candles when I smelled them in the store. Maybe when they're lit they smell better?
