Naw, those were made for TV. I think that's why Nightmare Before Christmas was so cool. Same kind of animation, only king-sized.

Rankin Bass did do "Willy McBean and His Magic Machine" for theatrical release which used stop motion. It was the first stop-motion movie in the US.
