Yes, not to mention trying to get the "sparkly" just right

However...

Getting the "sparkly" would actually be pretty easy. There's all sorts of glitter make-up sold.
I fear my daughter (now 13 ) probably won't go out this year. I just barely got her to go last year, then she had a blast. If I can entice her again, it will be a last-minute thing, I'm sure. Some of the streets around here are so much fun, though, that I have to believe she will at least want to see what's happening. I know I do!

Could someone explain this "sparkly" business to me? I'm really confused. At what point did vampires stop being about drinking blood and start being about Liberace?

I think the sparkles are supposed to blind their prey or something. I laughed out loud in the theater when I saw that (took my sister for her birthday, no really.)

In the books, I thought the vampires sparkled because their skin felt cold like granite. It was sort of a sparkly-like-granite thing, I thought, and also an explanation for their need to stay out of the sunlight (since the Twilight vampires obviously go out in daylight--as Dracula did, also, in his story).
I had pictured the sparkles as being more obvious than they were in the movies.
Now, I never really understood how it was romantic to cozy up to a stone-cold being the way Bella does. I have also wondered how it was possible for these vampires to roam through high school corridors, etc., and never bump into anyone. Seems like other people would notice how cold they were.

They probably never bumped into anyone because of they're super vampiric reflexes. And the books are a horrible influence on teenage girls. I don't understand there relationship at all. 'You smell good and I can't read your mind.' and 'You're so hot and you're actually talking to me.' And they fall in love. Maybe she's using him for immortality.

I first bought the books because I like vampire stories. Then my daughter (age 11 at the time) fell on them because she'd heard about them at school, I guess. But she is totally over Twilight now. She never was very much into the movies, anyway. And she was smart enough to recognize that there was something very stalker-ish about the way Edward would "haunt" Bella's room, etc.
When I read the books, I preferred the character of Jacob to Edward, because Jacob was interested in something besides Bella. I think very young girls often fantasize about someone who would be completely and utterly devoted to them and think of nothing else, but in reality, no one could live with that intensity focused on them 24/7.
I also think the book series got weirder as it went along. I get that Stephanie Myers wanted to give all her primary characters a happy ending, but the way she did it was very contrived, IMO. I am going to be very curious to see how the film-makers handle the whole "imprinting" business with the werewolves. It's going to look pedophilic (pedophiliac?) on screen, I think.

Yeah, it's pretty weird, I think she did more falling in love with children scenes than she had to. It really needs a lot of explaining not to feel creepy.

Twilight is dumb. Anywho, how about being a big brown fart cloud for Halloween?

I'm trying to conceptualize how one would go about putting together such a costume.....

Can fog machines be wore on a person and can the vapor be tinted?
