That's very sad! But, please keep working until you get the best job anytime. Same thing to me I almost got fired for letting someone have some foods and drink at the Commissary at Naval Base. So the boss changed his mind to let me stay there until I transferred to another job, now that's where I'm still working at the cemetery. When I worked at the Commissary, I used to be the Naval Security Guard, now I am the Cemetery Nightwatchman.

Sounds like you may have a metal allergy! I think some people cannot wear silver, right? Perhaps you need to go with gold all the time.

ETA: I just did a quick Google search. It turns out that people are not normally allergic to silver, but about 15% of the population is allergic to nickel, which is often used in making sterling silver. Sterling is about 85% silver & 15% something else, often nickel. So probably you are part of the 15% allergic to nickel.
