*Just had an argument with my roommate. Trying to cool down by drinking a growler of Claritas Kolsch.
Reason we argued? We have a large palm tree in the back yard that helps keep our, and our neighbor's house, about 10° cooler. No need for AC. Problem is, mice like to eat the berries in the tree, mice scare the lady next door. I've been trying to work something out with them for the last few years but haven't been able to communicate with them well since I no speaky the spanglish very goodly.
I heard the lady talking to my roommate in english tonight! She got my roommate on her side. After discussing whether we should remove the tree I finally said fine, but she has to take care of it. That's where the argument began. I'm actually fine with removing the tree as I'm tired of trimming and tossing the fronds and listening to their dogs bark at the mice at 2 in the morning. Just hate to loose the shade.
I need a refill. WAITER! Oh... roommate left. I have to serve myself

I can type, read, and understand Spanish, but I can't speak it very well. When I deal with Spanish speaking folks on the phones at work, I'd place them on hold, get a Spanish interpreter on the line from an interpreter service, and then go from there. About halfway through the call, I find an error with their account or I'm not able to help them, and they say in perfect English "What the f*ck do you mean you can't help me?!"
Loads of fun.
