You won't die if you put yer Kilt back on you crazy gallute...snow 101. Keep yer drawers on...that ain't the type of icicle you want to have...
Take some pics of the snow out there...for us that kind of snow is pretty common...usually get 3-4 huge storms a year and a mix of smaller ones...also ice storms as well...
Enjoy Mac!!!!

I haven't, but I should. I am always so frustrated by how teeny-tiny my tomatoes are compared to the neighbors'. (Don't snicker!

) I should be starting those seedlings now.

Between the two storms, we got about 50 inches of snow all together, in about a six day period. With another possible 10 inches forecast for tomorrow night.

And no, I don't wear my kilt when I'm shoveling. It's actually a very warm garment, but the problem in waist deep snow is wetness. Wet wool is not a pretty thing.
I have to admit, I cheat and buy my tomato plants in market packs at a small local garden center that has a really good selection of varieties instead of starting them from seed. I just don't have enough sunny windows.

I'd make them with snow instead of ice.

We've got a pretty good melt going on, which will make me sleep easier. I was a bit worried about all the snow on the roof.
