I'm sorta kinda in Shanda's neck of the woods. As I type this it is 89 degrees at 9:36 p.m. That's ridiculous, IMO. It was 100 in my carport this afternoon.shanda wrote:Heat index of 107!

I love to swim, so I've been doing some of that the last few days. But this endless heat does make a person dream of the relief of autumn.

Midnight now.
It's 81 with a heat index of 91. The normal average high here this time of year is 86. I can't wait until Sept. when the humidity drops and the days get cooler.
The leaves usually reach peak somewhere around the 15th of October.

I guess Andy is so lucky because he is now living somewhere cooler area in CA!
