My grandmother used to make Jello with fruit in it for us as well, I've tried it with grapes, strawberries, and cherries, and they were good. She also made it with nuts, but that was disgusting.

My mother never made it with nuts because as a child I wouldn't eat them. Two pecan trees in the yard, and I wouldn't touch them. Now, of course. I love nuts. Go figure.
