I'm sorry the weather interfered with your fun! We had a great night here in middle TN, lots of TOTers and yard haunts all over the place. My daughter, at 14, was too old to TOT with her mama, but she went to two different neighborhoods with friends and had a blast. I am so glad that she has decided to keep at it. I think more of the teenagers are doing that, now.

Time to lay low until the Halloween bug starts chirping again (probably early next year). By next summer it will be a full blown siren 8)

Ha ha! Yeah that's true!

I've still got a Pumpkin that we didn't carve outside by the front porch! :D

For the first time in four years, we actually had a real pumpkin on the porch as well. My brother visited a pumpkin patch and he and my niece brought a big one and a little one to carve. She was grossed out by the pumpkin guts and seemed stunned that something so slimy would be in her little pumpkin

My brother carved a grinning Sam jack on the big pumpkin and I carved a little cyclops with fangs per my niece's request on the little one. They looked great, but I was sorry to have to toss them the next evening. Pumpkins just don't survive very long down here :?
