I'm starting to see a little color and our forecasters promise us fall temps by the weekend!

More and more neighbors are erecting their yard haunts!

Same here we are having 88 today 75 Wednesday and 58 to 60 the rest of the week, here comes fall!!

I've been meaning to take a photo of this field for about a month now.

Luckily on the way home this afternoon there was very little traffic and I was able to snap this from the car.

Literally just down the road the Harvesters were picking them up and actually mulching them because they are sugar pies and were being turned into puree.

Here's one I captured on the way home this evening.

It's perhaps the most beautiful fall tree I have ever seen.

OMG, what a beautiful tree! Color is very slow to arrive here. We had a never-ending summer, then suddenly got very cold (frosty). So I'm hoping a few trees will turn before the leaves fall.

Not completely, but getting there!

The people in our neighborhood refer to it as 'the tree'.

So here's the farm over the fence again, one week on and a bit more color.

Believe it or not this is also the first warty pumpkin I've ever purchased. 15 pounder.

Photo is very appealing, too, very seasonal.

After a summery start to October, we are now having frosts!

I put one small Pumpkin in between the porch columns.

Simple but effective.
