Are you talking about the guy who plays Bud, the repairman? I've always imagined his wesen nature is a kind of beaver. He was a local actor they employed for one episode, and they liked him so much that they made him a recurrent character.
I'll have to check out that show someday

Today, it's overcast, cool and windy out, so I'm hunkered down watching two documentaries:
DRACULA: LIVE FROM TRANSYLVANIA (1989) and SECRETS OF THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE (1978)

Has there been any Bermuda Triangle cases lately?
It fascinated me when I was a kid.

Yep, Dan Bruno.
He was not pleasant as a teacher so perhaps he is better suited on stage.

Maybe he was a frustrated artist. He is superb on Grimm. When I look him up, it appears he has won some regional awards.
I think I saw that Bermuda Triangle special when it was first run.

Probably. It couldn't have been easy, yearning to be in the spotlight, but saddled with the burden of teaching entitled parochial school brats.

Lots of aspiring actors take a turn at teaching. And then, I've known a few pros who turn to teaching in middle age,
when their careers slow down. Of course, then they are usually teaching acting and passing on what wisdom they've acquired through their professional experience.

I was a teacher for a season of my life. Taught secondary social studies (history & geography) in public middle and high schools. Before that, I was a US Marine and a student. After college and grad school, I became a teacher. Enjoyed the work and students. Now I'm an American diplomat, but I might return to the classroom when I retire from government.

That sounds like an outline for a Clancy novel.

Yes, it's a documentary on
Amazon Prime, explores the folk horror phenomenon and its culturally specific manifestations in international horror, from its first wave in the 1970s to today.
