I like the one of the Chi on the bike!

I'm into alot of things which is sometimes troublesome as far as having the funds to finish various projects.
In my time I have been into:

-Painting sci-fi and fantasy miniatures. As well as normal canvas painting.
-I've been told I have some skill with sketching and ink drawings.
-One of my more recent interests (in the last 4 years or so) Is making the press/packing board masks. I've also done some mini cottages and such for friends tabletop war games.
-I love wood working. Not so much furniture or cabinets(that's my brothers department) but carving, scroll work, wood burning and the like. My favourite of these recent projects is my "Greenman" plaques. I'll try to get some pics up of that. I've actually sold a few of those at a local garden center and at last years fall festival.
-I am forever fascinated with ancient history. When you really look for yourself into the ancient past you begin to understand how amazing life is. There is no end to the surprises the ancient world has for us. Our planet has been many different places given the time frame. From the dragons of old (dinosaurs) to the first massive civilizations (Babylon,etc..)
and beyond our world has been a thousand different places. Just as surely as if these people ,places , and things were on different planets. It blows me away. It is in knowing these things that we can better know ourselves.
Alright, end lecture.
-I collect swords,knives, and the like.
-Once upon a time I was into RPGs (big surprise) but just try getting a given group of people together once for a party much less a regular game.
- there's a place in my heart for most forms of music, but I regularly listen to Dark Surf, Psychobilly, doom metal, punk. God I love the Misfits. (for any fans Jerry Only has a Japanese band on his label called Balzac. Those little guys make a big sound. Sweet!)
.............And a whole bunch of other stuff that just disappeared because this stupid thing makes you log in every 5 seconds!
-Write and sing
-I garden. Come to think of it I've got a bag of green beans from the spring in the freezer waiting to be stir-fried.
-I hate the radio
-prefer cold weather to warm
-I love making Halloween props. It brings together my different skills and pleases me endlessly.
-I like knowing how to do a thing for myself. Anything that decreases dependence on "the grid" is very satisfying. Grow your own-make your own-fix your own.
That a few bits of me.

I love gardening. Getting down and getting my hands dirty.
I have a small veggie garden, but I really want the space to do it on a much bigger scale.

It's always been our plan to move to the country and start a huge garden. You know, one of those flower covered cottages surrounded by lavender and rose. A garden full of vegetables and herbs waiting to be enjoyed. Ah the simple things....

Absolutely!
I grow alot of herbs. I keep wild roses too.
I want to learn to make my own soaps and shampoos. It is much, much healthier.
I've been doing a little studying online.

Thankfully we have a shop nearby that sells natural soaps. The difference is immediately apparent. The natural stuff gets creamy the more you lather, and it leaves you soft. If I used Dove or Irish spring I'll be dry as a bone.

Oh tell me about it!
There is a store near me called Good Earth. I love their naturals.
Kiss My Face is good stuff, but a little on the pricey side.

This little place is called YEARS TO YOUR HEALTH. They have a tremendous cache of whole herbs, Vitamins, and the like. I haven't been there in a few months. I hope it's still there. Most of the Herb shops around here have gone under in the last couple of years. It's the only place where I can get whole cacao beans.

Oh that is sad.
We had one go under here, but the prices there were outrageous. They over-priced themselves right out of business. And this was a good neighborhood that it was in.
The shop that had been there for years and years is still going strong.

I get my cacao beans there, too.
There is nothing like good, fresh-ground coffee!

Oops I meant to add coffee, I didn't mean that I think cacao beans is coffee. hehe

My favorite hobby currently is giving Belladonna a hard time.

Give her time. She'll probably fall down and get her tongue stuck in wall outlet and give her heart a big shock.

I stole her camera while she was on vacation and in every picture with her in it her tongue is hanging out. Weird, really.
