My 'what if ' movie will always be The Innocents.

The original, not the one made a few years ago.

Oh, yes, the one with Deborah Kerr, right? That is a famous novella by Henry James, of course, and there have been several versions of it. There was even an opera based on it a few years ago.

That is a good movie, and I haven't even thought about it in years. I wonder if it's available on DVD?

The novella by James is entitled The Turn of the Screw, by the way--just in case someone is looking for it. A great scary read, along with other classics like The Haunting of Hill House, on which The Haunting was based, or better known ones like Dracula & Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.

Whitley Strieber wrote the book Wolfen. There is nothing I would like more than to slap handcuffs on Mr Strieber and toss his con artist butt into prison for a long, long time. He has made a very good living the past 30 plus years by scaring and conning people into believing his garbage about aliens and alien abductions and his so claimed interaction with them, the secret government, men in black, moth man and every other bogus supernatural claim he has made........Having said that, I loved Wolfen the movie and agree it was intense. Pretty scary to think you're not at the top of the food chain! LOL! To make matters worse, you can't buy the movie as a single dvd, but buy it as a 4 movie set. It's 34 years old and still holds up very well, even by todays standards!

Oh, my husband loves to read/hear about all that alien stuff. I think he did have a book like that by Streiber back in the '80s, and he loves the Ancient Alien series on DVD. I am not much into all that, although some of it is interesting.

I thought the first Men in Black movie was hysterical, sending up all that stuff.

Good to know that I can get both Wolfen & The Innocents on DVD.
