Halloween.com seems to be the only place where people still tend to have a positive attitude towards life any more.
Speaking of positive attitudes, I went to Kroegers yesterday to shop. They ALREADY have started putting out Halloween candy in those orange display cardboard display cases. That sort of put a little spark of hope in my heart for ToT. It will probably be drastically from other years, but the candy is being sold as we speak.

I prefer to keep Halloween separate from other stuff. As long as people are free and happy, I am happy.

Keeping politics out of my Halloween graveyard is a tall order, but probably easier than the promise we made this year. We agreed that the candy bowl that usually appears on the table on October 1st won't make an appearance this year until the final week of the month. It's a lot harder to keep my girlish figure when I'm not only over the hill, but careening down it at a break-neck speed with rolling globules of cellulose bouncing me back and forth, and great rolls of neck-fat, like clouds of covid, choking the breath out of me.
Andy, the pictures you post are the reason I still come here after all these years. They always set a chill Halloween mood, even in the middle of the sweaty bum-crack of August.

Stop it Mac, or I'm going to get off my butt and dust the house...
Now that you are an overweight middle-aged suburban dad, you should decorate your front yard with Trump/Pence signs, and see if anyone notices.

I’ve been replacing two 24 year old under counter lights.
I’d prefer the couch.

Actually they are for the kid’s study areas - 4 and 6. Lol. They are LED, and can do different colors of white, but not like that Hue lights we have in various spots which can do lots of colors. Nice ones for Halloween and Christmas.

For us, yes. At least until October. Then Maria will reevaluate.

Out here on the Left Coast there is a gentleman in my state who is a tutor.
He developed an interesting pod if you will, where he accepts students to come in with their own schools curriculum and equipment and they are distance learning with their schools as usual, but with him there to help as needed.
By doing this the students have a place to go and take the pressure off parents who can now go back to their offices.
He is also a a wilderness instructor, after all this is Oregon, and half of the day will be spent Outdoors, hiking and learning about nature etc.
He has space for 15 students at $550 / month.

All I know is that you won't see ANY campaign signs in my front yard on Halloween.
