It is a 2024 feature length animated movie, that won the Oscar and Golden Globe.

It is the first Oscar win for the country of Latvia, made with open access (free) software for $3.4 million...which is pocket change in the movie business.

It is stunning to look at, and although there is no dialog, it will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire movie.

The protagonist is a cat and ill just leave it at that.

I read about it yesterday after you mentioned it. I didn't know that it was Latvian, or that it had been made using free software. But it does sound interesting.

It seems we are entering an era when there is more access for creative people. They no longer have to go through the gatekeepers of the entertainment industry. That must be a good thing.
