I always have a little bit of Halloween spirit in me but some time it is harder to fine like when there is 3 feet of snow on the ground or really hot out side but I still have it. But when the dog days of summer like now It just stirs up inside me I can wait for Fall I can but I enjoy getting closer every day until Halloween.

My Birthday usually kicks off my Halloween spirit big time because it is at the end of this month and all the stores put out their Halloween stuff. I'm getting that yearning earlier this year though...

Yet another 40-ish degree morning and the trees are really starting to put on their fall best in quantity.
I'm going to be soooo sad when our summer shows up next month.

Already costume shopping. Raiding the Salvation Army.
Making myself ballerina thin so my costume more realistic. Working on my plié.
Dedication.
Also, any tips on realistic strangulation bruise make-up?

Last night about 8:30 pm when I went outside to get a fresh air, looking around the sky and I saw a few black bats flying around.... I know Halloween is pretty approaching.
But good thing that I didn't get any bat droppings on my head!

I like bats. They are always out at night here, 24/7/365.

Andy, those are some beautiful pictures you posted!
And about bats, I found a dead bat in my street the other day. It wasn't gross, as it was just squished and dried out ... no nasty guts and blood. But it was also kind of sad.
