What Non-Horror Movies have you been watching?

Post by iHaunt » Tue Nov 24, 2009 3:38 pm

Superfly (1972)
Starring Ron O' Neal and Sheila Frazier.

See a little info about this movie here: www.imdb.com/title/tt0069332/plotsummary

Actually, I liked this movie. And, I wish to see the second part "Superfly T.N.T." - but Blockbuster and Netflix don't carry it. So where should I rent or buy it online? Any feedbacks would be appreciated. :D

Truly, one of the best films this decade.

i just saw 2012 last week
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I've been on a Rex Harrison binge lately. The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and My Fair Lady. I always loved him as an actor, even saw him once on stage in London, in Pirandello's Henry IV. That was back in the early '70s.

This weekend my daughter and I will go to New Moon (the new Twilight movie). I want to see it, but I didn't want to fight for a place in line last weekend, when it opened.

Hey you guys, let me know how New Moon is! :)
I haven't seen 2012 either.

Ok, so the bad new... I can't find "Superfly T.N.T." DVD all over everywhere on the internet. My grandpa told me they might stop making any more copies, something like that.... but the good new is - I already ordered it online (not DVD, it's VHS). I still do have VHS in my room.

Anyway, last nite I watched "Black Mama, White Mama". Starring Pam Grier, Margaret Markov and Sid Haig.

That car wreck in the first half still gives me chills. UGH!
But I liked it that the other group of girls got him!
