I don't know how many people here get Comcast OnDemand programs,
but if you do, you can find some Halloween projects by going to--
--> On Demand
---> Life & Home
----> Martha Stewart
-----> Early Halloween
So far, there's a dozen projects there including costumes, food, and
decorations.

I don't, but it does seem like IFC is showing more horror movies than normal lately...

You're just jealous because you can only cook, take care of a family, and entertain, but can't make a board of directors do your evil bidding.

I agree. My technique is to point out where the 'fridge is and then go off and watch TV in another room.

That's interesting that they would have it so early. I cancelled my comcast about 2 months ago though. But Netflix makes up for that.

It's freeing, you suddenly notice all this extra time you have.

But I do. Luckily she likes most of the same things I do. And the rest I do after she's asleep.

You are lucky there...my kids like Scooby Doo at least

My 12 year old loves Twilight and Vampires a lot. The other kids are too young for anything other than Scooby or Cartoons or Hocus Pocus...but they all love Halloween that's for sure.

Mine is only 3, and she loves Halloween and scaring people ( Our costume stuff is out all year round) but also cleaning and I walk her to the park most days.
By the way, did anyone else notice PBS playing a lot of Halloween shows lately? Probably regional though.

I have an almost 2 year old, a 5 year old and a 12 year old...damn, I'm getting old. They all love Halloween and the girls are definitely girly but love to dress up and be spooky.
My son is the youngest so he has no choice hee hee LOL...he was Batman of course last year
I have not seen any Halloween themed shows yet...just the Vampire Diaries and Moonlight series on the WB on Thursday nights.(Big shout out to Belladonna for telling me about those shows.)

When I was little I really loved 'Hocus Pocus', specifically the first 10 minutes that took place in the 17th century. I wanted to be a witch so badly when I was 8 years old. But in the creepy fictional way, not the wiccany sort of witch. I didn't really want to hurt people, I just wanted to horrify them and live in the woods and make potions. And only occasionally steal the youth of children.
Also, that Scooby Doo movie about the Salem witch was pretty cute.
