Police Investigate Grave Robbery

Fort Smith, Ark. -- Fort Smith police said that Wednesday night, someone dug up a grave and took jewelry from inside the casket.
Cpl. Steven Dooly said a family member reported to police when he went to Roselawn Cemetery Thursday morning, the grave had been completely uncovered and the concrete barrier had been broken.
An undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen from inside the casket, said Dooly.
Dooly said no reports of this kind have been filed in more than 10 years.
No suspects have been identified, said Dooly.
