We just watched that movie too! It's great news right in time for Halloween that they are going to make a sequel. I can't wait!
I like that they want to explore more of Sam's backstory too, this will be interesting to see.
I think what they should do is do a double feature, give the first movie the theatrical release it deserves to get people hyped up, and then reveal the awesome sequel.

I'm not going to shave until it comes out. Hopefully they don't shelve it for a couple years again.

When they made the first Trick 'r Treat movie they didn't expect it to do well so they let it sit for a couple years then sent it straight to video. One of the rumors I read on the delay was because it was from one of the writers of Superman Returns and that didn't do so well. Luckily, San Diego Comic-Con came to our rescue.

Nah, that is not what I meant. LOL. I was making a joke about what you were going to shave. I admit it failed miserably.

Oh. That's the thing this year. Growing beards. The players on the Redsox did it and they won the series. We have a football player says he's not going to shave or cut his hair until the Chargers win the Super Bowl. I think he's gonna end up looking like a cro-magnon.

Sweet!! I can't wait for this to happen. I only hope the sequel is a s good as the original. Given how popular it is, there's probably a lot of pressure.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

That's what I'm hoping for, too. In fact, I hope that it comes out in October of what ever year it's released, and I hope it plays at the Harvest Moon Drive-In.
